The members of Barry Athletic were saddened to hear that long time member Gareth Humphreys MBE, passed away on Tuesday 29th October. Gareth's list of bowling achievments was massive both on and off the green. Representing Wales at World, Commonwealth Games and his club in British Championships. Off the green he was an administrator, coach, manager, and president. He will be sorely missed by the whole Welsh bowling fraternity, but most of all by his friends and team mates at Barry Athletic, where he had been a member for 65 years.
